1. Educational Purpose — Not Legal or Immigration Advice

CivicsPrep is an educational tool designed to help users study for the U.S. citizenship civics test. All content on this site is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

CivicsPrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.

Nothing on CivicsPrep constitutes legal advice, immigration advice, or a guarantee of any outcome on your naturalization test or application. Always consult with a licensed immigration attorney for advice specific to your situation.

2. Accuracy of Content

Civics questions on CivicsPrep are sourced from official USCIS public domain materials. We make reasonable efforts to keep content current and accurate; however, USCIS may update official questions and answers at any time. We recommend verifying all answers against the official USCIS study materials.

Use of CivicsPrep does not guarantee passing the naturalization civics interview.

3. User Accounts

You may use CivicsPrep's free tools without creating an account. To access progress tracking and premium features, you must create an account with a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Premium Purchase — Payment and Refund Policy

CivicsPrep offers a one-time premium purchase ("Premium") priced at $14.99. Premium unlocks audio study mode, removes advertisements, and grants access to any downloadable study materials.

Payment: All payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on CivicsPrep's servers.

No refunds: All sales are final. Because digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase and is non-returnable, we do not offer refunds. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to premium features after purchase, contact us at hello@civicsprep.com and we will resolve it promptly.

Lifetime access: Premium is a one-time purchase tied to your account. As long as your account exists, you retain premium access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce CivicsPrep content for commercial purposes
• Circumvent any access controls or attempt to access premium features without payment
• Use automated tools to access the site in a way that imposes unreasonable load
• Attempt to interfere with the operation of CivicsPrep or its infrastructure
• Use the site in violation of any applicable law

6. Intellectual Property

The CivicsPrep name, logo, design, and original content (explanations, UI, study guides) are the property of CivicsPrep and may not be reproduced without permission. Official USCIS civics questions are sourced from U.S. government public domain materials and are not subject to copyright.

7. Advertising

Free users of CivicsPrep may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are governed by Google's advertising policies. CivicsPrep does not control the specific ads displayed. Premium users do not see advertisements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

CivicsPrep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of CivicsPrep is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CivicsPrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of CivicsPrep shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email if you have an account. Continued use of CivicsPrep after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
